Project Overview


The iVisit project is a collaborative effort between Texas Tech University, Kansas State University, and the University of Florida. We have worked together to develop a framework for effectively using interactive virtual tour (IVT) learning modules to increase food and agricultural sciences exposure, literacy, and workforce development.

Our Goals


The goals for the iVisit project are to:

  • Develop and disseminate interactive virtual tour learning modules featuring food and agricultural sciences (FAS) topic areas.  
  • Enhance agriculture and natural resource instructors’ abilities to utilize interactive virtual tours featuring FAS topic areas. 
  • Evaluate educational effectiveness of interactive virtual tours of FAS topic areas in higher education.
